SF Coffee Spots

4:33:00 PM

This past Thursday was National Coffee Day and I thought what better way to celebrate than sitting back with a cup of cold brew and sharing my favorite SF coffee spots! More often than not I default to coffee at home or a quick stop at Starbucks, but these coffee shops are the perfect place to spend these sunny afternoons we've been having lately! So take this list and go get caffeinated in style!

1. The Mill. This place is an institution of Divisidero Street, that is often filled with everyone from tattooed hipsters to hip families to USF students seeking caffeine. Not only is the coffee amazing, but the atmosphere is fun and the toast is to die for. I particularly enjoy this spot because its within walking distance of campus, offers food and drinks, and is the prime spot for working on your instagram aesthetic.

What I order: iced soy mocha with GF mountain toast (beware this is super seedy)!

2. Matching Half. This is another coffee shop close to school that's constantly filled with students on laptops. I chose this location not only because its a short walk to where they make an amazing cup of coffee, but they also have delicious snacks.

What I order: Soy latte with seasonal fruit parfait (seriously so so good)

3. Velo Rouge. This has long been my favorite coffee shop in San Francisco both for sentimental reasons and because I love everything they serve. I used to come here as a sophomore in high school with my older sister when she went to USF and lived around the corner! Over the years I have eaten meals here and tried most of the drinks they offer. I highly recommend breakfast!

What I order: Cold brew if its warm, Soy Hot Chocolate if its cold, with a GF brownie of course.

4. Blue Bottle Coffee. This one is a bit of a trek, all the way to the Ferry Building, but one that is quite worth it. It has long been a cherished part of my Saturday mornings at the farmer's market to grab a coffee from Blue Bottle to sip as I sample.

*Time saving hack: to walk around the corner of the store to the left, there is a to-go window that serves the same stuff with half the line of the regular window!

What I order: New Orleans Iced Coffee

Let me know your favorite coffee haunts, I'm always on the lookout for new place! xoxo
